Melanie Saxer Johnston’s book What My Father Saw is a daughter's journey through her father's memories as one of the liberators of Buchenwald Concentration Camp. Using the photos that her father took at the liberation of Buchenwald, Johnston illustrates the lasting impact that this experience had on one man and his daughter.
